JIM SEWELL

Chief Operating Officer

Jim spent 37 years working for the Air Force Research Laboratory (29 years at Sensors Directorate at WPAFB and 8 years at the Directed Energy Directorate at KAFB).  He has handled a broad range of duties, from bench-level research & development to program manager to supervisor. His background includes compound semiconductor device and circuit (design, fabrication, and test), high-power microwave system demonstration and prototyping, and modeling, simulation & analysis for military utility analyses. Jim Currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and enjoys the outdoor activities that the mountain west offers.

ALAN ANDREWS

Chief Software Architect

Alan is a senior software architect and engineer with 15 years professional experience. He has over 12 years experience working with the government developing software simulation architectures. He spent many years developing physics based models in the field of electro-optical modeling, including a rendering engine that provides faster than real-time frames from a simulated focal plane array. Alan has extensive experience developing for the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), both directly with the architecture itself as well as developing plugins for models such as a conflict deconfliction model and a dynamic laser aimpoint selection model. Alan has modeled many aspects of space simulations, such as orbital dynamics motion predictors as well as electro optical systems on satellite buses. Alan lives with his wife Mary-Ann and their three pugs in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

JUSTIN BECKER

Chief Computer Scientist

Justin is a passionate senior software engineer with 15 years of experience creating solutions in a myriad of different industries and environments.  His early career focused on a Windows desktop product, which was developed using C++ and MFC/Qt UI frameworks.  After that Justin moved on to developing modeling and simulation applications with Baker Hughes and the JewelSuiteâ„¢ earth modeling package, which involved writing reservoir simulation code, integrating external simulators, pre/post processing data, and visualizing the data for users.  Finally, Justin transitioned to his current expertise of modeling and simulation for the U.S. government on several projects involving lasers, war gaming, the Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), and software project management.  Over these projects and careers, Justin has developed extensive experience with many technologies, technology stacks, and environments including Windows desktop applications, web front-end/back-end applications, and containerized service applications.
Justin lives with his wife Megan and three children in Albuquerque NM; enjoys drumming, biking, and camping in the great outdoors.
